पोखरामा गुरुङ चलचित्र निर्माण शुरु भएको डेढदशक पुग्नै आँटेको छ । डेढ दशक अवधिमा झण्डै ५ दजर्नको हाराहारीमा गुरुङ चलिचत्र बनिसकेका छन् ।  हिमाली र पहाडी जनजीवनसँगै गुरुङहरुको सँस्कृतिलाई उजागार गर्ने मुख्य अभियानसहित चलचित्र निर्माण हुदैं आएका छन् ।
